  Nigerian artist Ruger has acquired a new mansion. The ‘Bounce’ crooner,  Ruger  recently acquired a new mansion in Lagos but didn’t make a post about it. However, Ruger’s label boss,  D’Prince , showed off the house and congratulated him via Instagram story. He shared a video of himself and Ruger inside the new mansion. Grammy award-winning artist Wizkid boasts about his accomplishments in new Snapchat stories. On Sunday morning (October 30), Grammy award-winning artist  Wizkid  took to his Snapchat and took off some things off his chest. Wizkid  is well-known as that Nigerian celebrity who doesn’t talk too much and doesn’t reply to trolls. However, the superstar, this morning, seemed to have gotten enough as he bragged about his accomplishments on his Snapchat account ‘Felaback’. In one of the posts,  Wizkid  brags that he could stop singing today and nobody (no artist) would be able to touch his wealth. In another post, he reveals that he would open a class to lecture ‘you niggas’ about achieving more with less work. Lastly, he asks that moving forward, he should be addressed as ‘Daddy’ or ‘Sir’. James Brown signs first artist to his record label. Controversial crossdresser  James Brown  has just unveiled an artist called ‘Believe’ as his first signing. The crossdresser, who gained much media attention recently after the leak of his sextape, introduced his artist, Believe, in a TikTok video. In the video, James Brown said, ‘Guys, meet Believe my first artist’. He then asked Believe to introduce himself. According to Believe’s words, there are ‘bangers’ (hot songs) coming out soon. Nigerian music star, Rema shares official music video for ‘Dirty’, a track off his Rave & Roses album. Rema  has unveiled another music video for his fans. The superstar, who’s currently on his Europe tour, shared the music video for ‘Dirty’ today (October 25). ‘Dirty’ is the third track off Rave & Roses album. It’s produced by London and Andre Vibez. 22-year-old Rema becomes the second African artist to peak at top 10 on the Billboard Global 200. Nigerian artist,  Rema  can now add ‘Billboard top seller’ to his list of achievements, thanks to his smash hit ‘Calm Down’ featuring  Selena Gomez , which just peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Global 200. The news that  Rema  made it to top 10 on the Global 200 was first reported on October 24 by Chart Data via its Twitter handle. ‘Calm Down’ is equally the highest charting song for both  Selena   Gomez  and  Rema  on the chart. By achieving his first top 10,  Rema  joined his Nigerian colleague  Ckay , whose smash hit song Love Nwantinti peaked at number 2 on the same chart in 2021. Adidas cuts ties with Kanye West over Hate speech controversies. Famous clothing brand, Adidas, on Tuesday (October 25), cuts ties with American rapper-cum-entrepreneur  Kanye West . The company took the decision to terminate its partnership with  Kanye West , who now goes by the name ‘Ye’, following his antisemitism and hate speech controversies. According to the company, Ye’s products will be pulled from sale and the partnership between Adidas and Yeezy (Ye’s brand) will be terminated with immediate effect. In a statement on Tuesday, Adidas wrote: ‘Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness’. Rapper Blaqbonez unveils art cover and tracklist of upcoming album ‘Young Preacher’. Nigerian rapper-cum-singer,  Blaqbonez finally unveiled the art cover and tracklist of his upcoming album  Young Preacher . The rapper took to Twitter on Saturday (October 22) and released the art cover and the tracklist of the album. The album features the pre-released  Back In Uni,  whose music  video  hit 1 million views on YouTube on its first day. Nigerian artists such as  Lojay ,  Tekno , and  Superboy   Cheque  are on the album. Popular Ghanaian hitmaker,  Amaarae  is also on it, among others. ‘Young Preacher’ contains 13 tracks, including the pre-released  Back In Uni , and is scheduled for release on October 28, 2022. Nigerian music artist Wizkid’s international manager, Jada P, has confirmed the birth of their second child. The wait is finally over!  Wizkid  and  Jada P are parents to another baby. Jada P  breaks the news to her Instagram followers today, Thursday (October 20), which is also her birthday. The 39-year-old shares a black-and-white photo of herself and her older son, Zion, and the newly born baby in her hand. She captioned the beautiful photo, ‘beyond a blessing 🖤’ and ‘thank God for another year’. The gender of the baby has not been confirmed, but it’s said to be a girl. This is  Wizkid  and Jada P’s second child together.  Wizkid , who also has 2 other sons from different women, is now father to four children at the age of 32.
